Ellimist aims to bring to life a universe of life, death, eternity, and destruction.

We are not afraid to go where others won't, blending genres and making music that transcends musical boundaries. It is for that reason that we've played so many diverse shows, with hip-hop artists, funk bands, progressive acts, rock bands, hardcore/punk shows, and everything in-between. We love musical diversity and aim to exemplify that we all are part of the same story.  

We want to create music, art, and galaxy-sized stories that entertain, inspire, and create a sense of wonder. Our aim is to breathe new life into the progressive metal genre and create something truly unique...and music is only the beginning!

We started by telling the story of the Ellimist: a being beyond the very reaches of space and time itself, inspired by KA Applegate's The Ellimist Chronicles. If you haven't yet, go read it! 

Now, we aim to tell new stories featuring original characters, and have begun the impossible work of creating our own universe!

Ellimist is currently also playing live in support of their debut studio album, and are now booking shows in the northeastern USA, as well as planning a southeastern tour for Q4 of 2023. They are also working on a follow up album titled Devastation of the Large Magellanic Cloud, as well as a tie-in science fiction novel titled Cyr the Destroyer.
